Have you noticed that you've been getting a bit more winded than is usual for you? Or, maybe you have a nagging cough that is really starting to worry you. If you've noticed any unusual symptoms, especially if they are respiratory in nature, maybe it's time that you visit your doctor for a thorough COPD history and physical.

Why bother with a visit to the doctor? Taking a thorough medical history not only provides your doctor with important clues as to the exact cause of your symptoms, but, it will give your doctor an idea as to whether or not more diagnostic tests need to be ordered. Once your history has been reviewed, your doctor will look you over from head to toe to see if you have signs and symptoms indicative of a COPD diagnosis.
