Saying Goodbye to Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson
The LA and NY Times have just confirmed that pop star Michael Jackson has also died from cardiac arrest after he was rushed to UCLA Medical Center. He was only fifty.
I don't know about any of you, but I grew up watching Charlie's Angels and listening to the Jackson Five, so I was, and still am, a huge fan of both. The events have provoked a deep sadness within me, as I realize once again, how short life really is for all of us.
I just wanted to share my sadness with the rest of the world as we bid farewell to a little piece of our hearts!

This is a sad day for all of us here in America. Michael and Farrah, will alway’s be icons to this generation. Sadly enough, takes part of our innocence, when it comes to aging and dying. Life is fragile, the children of both, will be left with memories and love, from their parents. We, all find ourselves grieving for people who gve us the time of our lives not only theirs. May they both rest in peace.
So eloquently said, thank you for your kind thoughts.
Today is a very sad day for all of us. We have lost a GREAT PERFORMER AND MAN! I grew up with the Jackson5 and then with Micheal. My daughters were born and I use to play his music while dancing around the room with them. I will miss you. I have so many fond memories of that little boy I grew up with. So I really feel like I am saying goodbye to a childhood friend. God now has a beautiful angel with him. Keep on singing we will hear you with our hearts. My condolences go to his family.
Goodbye to two big parts of my life. Farrah I believed as a young teen that I would marry her someday, and Michael Jackson gave me chills watching him dance, absolutely electrifying! Its sad to lose any of our stars, but to lose two icons in one day is so sad, it also shows how short life is. I hope they both find peace in death as they provided so much happiness in life. Michael and Farrah you will be missed by many.
Farrah will always be an angel. My condolence to the family.
It was a sad day but I have to admit I was blown away to see that after Michael’s death, Farrah was not mentioned any longer that evening or days after on the news. It is a great loss of two wonderful entertainers, but some more attention/focus on Farrah needs to be made.
